Dear MDAA Member,

 

We hope this letter finds you well and that 2011 has been good for you and your families.

 

The Iron Range Chapter has scheduled an all members meeting to be held at the Hibbing VFW on April 14^th at 6:00pm.

 

Some of the new business scheduled for this meeting is the development of critical committees. The success of our chapter relies on members “stepping up” and helping. Committees we would like you to seriously consider volunteering for include:

 

Shows and Events Committee. Evaluating and making recommendations for which event our chapter should participate in. handling booth rentals, work schedules, set-up, take down, and recap all costs and income.

 

Banquet Committee. Select date, location, meal, prizes. Look into possible guest speakers. Work within a budget.

 

Community Events Committee. Coordinating our involvement in community events such as parades, fishing events and educational programs.

 

Funds Distribution Committee. Research information on the best ways to distribute the chapter funds.

 

We will discuss the responsibilities and missions for each committee in more detail at our meeting. And remember…extra efforts in your chapter means you get extra tickets toward that special year end drawing.

 

So mark your calendar and start thinking about how you can help. Working together we can achieve the goals of the chapter.

 

We will have pizza or some snacks and we are currently working on a guest speaker.
